I have chosen to study fashion in London since Grade 10. In the beginning, I knew very little about fashion because I just read some reports on the Internet. But even so, I was still obsessed with fashion. Especially after I watched the fashion show which was designed by John Galliano, I was deeply impressed and decided to go to London for further studying. And there are some main reasons why I chose London. First of all, London is a city with many elements. People of different cultural backgrounds can share their unique aesthetics with each other, which makes London very open by which I am deeply fascinated. Secondly, there are many museums in London, so there will be many exhibitions here. I’ve always believed that different circumstances can make different people. Therefore, living and studying in such a rich artistic atmosphere, I will certainly absorb a lot of valuable knowledge. Finally, London Fashion Week is one of the most influential fashion weeks in the world. I think that what I can learn in London is not only knowledge but also an opportunity to broaden my horizon. Students get to know a designer’s real-life by participating in Fashion Week, both on and off stage. This is more precious knowledge than a school can teach.
