The task of this class is to complete our final page which is the press release. Even though we tried to write some short press releases in session5, this class was still quite a challenge for me. Because I don’t know how to describe my product. Luckily, Sarah said I didn’t have to finish the press release in class, which greatly relieved my pressure. Sarah said that I could do other work for the presentation, so I decided to continue to draw my printing pattern. In the process of drawing, I began to think about my press release. After referring to the example of Gucci, I decided how to write my release. But what I got the most from this class was some advice from Sarah. I showed her my worksheet and explained my unique selling point. She gave me a lot of advice on the Photoshoot Page. Although she didn’t like the hand-painted flowers I added to the background, she advised me to keep my own idea, because it was just her idea, everyone’s idea is different, I should be myself. And she also asked me what style I wanted, because my print was inspired by V&A, so it was very retro. The photos I choose should also be in this style to make the whole look more unified and harmonious. Because of what she said, I began to think seriously. It turned out to be very useful, too, because after serious thinking, I had a core idea for the rest of the process, so it went very smoothly. So I’m very grateful to Sarah for her advice.
